Internships

What is The Creative Lab?

Set up in 2010 as a collective creative space, both tangible and intangible, The Creative Lab is a place within the NHTV that focuses on creating experiments within the media and entertainment industry together with companies, students, staff and alumni. It is an experimental platform for students, alumni, researchers and the industry. The Creative Lab is located at the NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences,  on the Monseigneur Hopmansstraat 1, at the N-building in room N2.101. The core product is experiments within media & games (AR, VR, AI, 360 among others), but the Lab also organizes inspiring talks, workshops on new and trending topics as well as the opportunity to 3D print concepts.

What an intern does at The Creative Lab

During your internship at The Creative Lab you take on an executive role in a small organization. You will be working on a set of predetermined assignments such as working on and executing social media strategies, organizing Workshops, setting up and collaborating on projects, as well as organizing LabTalks. The Creative Lab gives you the freedom to come up with an idea and to immediately put your thoughts into practice.

Regarding skills and attitude, The Creative Lab needs you to work independently in order to learn and gain experiences from your daily tasks. During this internship, you will develop and apply creative thinking, an open mind towards different perspectives, organizational skills, and a healthy amount of humor.
