Internships

What an intern does at The Creative Lab

During your internship at The Creative Lab you take on an executive role in a small organisation. You will be working on a set of predetermined assignments such as working on and executing social media strategies, organising workshops and events, setting up and working on a number of projects, as well as organising LabTalks. The Creative Lab gives you the freedom and opportunity to come up with an idea and immediately put it into practice.

As an intern at The Creative Lab, you will also have the opportunity to create your own original ideas or concepts for projects or experiments you might be interested in outside of your internship. The Creative Lab happily encourages and facilities such ventures by offering resources and guidance. Check out our projects page to see what some of our previous interns have worked on!

Regarding skills and attitude, The Creative Lab requires you to work independently as well as in a small team in order to learn and gain experience from your daily tasks. During this internship, you will develop and apply creative thinking, an open mind towards different perspectives, organizational skills, and of course, a healthy sense of humor.

We think an internship at The Creative Lab is a great opportunity, but don't just take our word for it - check out what our previous interns have to say!

Fabienne

I liked my internship because I got a lot of freedom to come up with ideas for workshops or other things. If you are creative,  like to organise events, want to do social media, make newsletters or improve the website then get in touch with The Creative Lab to see what your opportunities are as an intern.

Magi

Being a part of The Creative Lab’s team, I was able to see how the organisation can enrich the BUas community by helping all of the students learn new skills that could help them in their future careers. My advice is to get familiar with The Creative Lab and make use of it for your own benefit!

Rosie

My favourite thing about being an intern at The Creative Lab, other than the free coffee, was all of the freedom I had to explore and try out different areas that interested me. I was able to dabble in web design and organising fun events and collaborations as well as manage my own time.
